Savin is a Counselling Psychologist and currently conducting her doctoral research at City University into the experience of traumatic events. Savin has worked with adolescents, adults and older adults in a variety of mental health settings such as educational, primary care (NHS). She is also experienced in working in private practice.
Savin works within an integrative approach with a Cognitive Behaviourial emphasis. This means that her work involves short to long term therapy using, structured, goal orientated approach. Special interests include relationship difficulties, self esteem issues, anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive disorder and depression.
Savin is registered as a member of the British Psychological Society, and can offer therapy in Greek and Kurdish (Sorani) as well as English. She is one of our senior therapists, and works at the practice on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
